“ WHAT SEPARATES DENTISTRY FROM ART IS THAT DENTISTRY IS MEANT TO BE… FUNCTIONAL”
Normally it is not painful although you can feel some irritation of your gums, sometimes you will notice bleeding while brushing your teeth.
You can check for these signs: visible plaque on your teeth on any surface (usually on the inside of lower incisors or on the outside of upper molars); redness and swelling of your gums. When the gums are healthy they have pinkish color and are well adapted to the surface of your teeth. Anyways the best way to know if you have it – is to see your dentist.
Oral hygiene is not painful, but it can be unpleasant because ultrasound is used to remove the plaque. Ultrasound creates some unpleasant vibration. If your teeth are sensitive due to different reasons, local anesthesia might be necessary just to avoid sensitivity.
Normally the price of oral hygiene varies from 50 to 100eur depending on the condition of your gums.
